# FMS Academy Payment Questions

**How much does membership to the FMS Academy cost?**

The FMS Academy is $799.00 USD for first-time purchasers at FMS and then $200/year to renew access.  If you have previously purchased courses with FMS, you will have a discounted initial fee and then $200/year to maintain your membership.

**How long is this membership valid for when I purchase the FMS Academy?**

The membership is valid for one year.  At the time of expiration, you will have the opportunity to renew your membership for $200/yearly.

 

**Is there a payment plan available when purchasing the FMS Academy?**  
We recognize that offering flexible payment options is a benefit for our customers. We are pleased to share that we do accept Paypal, which offers a [Pay in 4](https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/what-is-pay-in-4-faq4333) feature. This payment plan allows you to split your purchase into 4 payments, with the down payment due at the time of transaction and 3 subsequent payments made every 2 weeks thereafter. This feature is available in most states and many countries, but approval is at the discretion of Paypal.

 

**Can the membership auto-renewal be turned off in my FMS account?**

Yes.  In your FMS account's [“Account” section](https://www.functionalmovement.com/account), you can toggle the “Auto-Renew Status” to OFF to turn off automatic renewal.

 

**Is there a military or student discount available on the FMS Academy?**

There is no military or student discount available for the FMS Academy. Discounts for these groups are only available for live or virtual course seat fees.
